The pet ailments included: feline –  abdominal pain, persistent hematuria, canine – glaucoma, sequel to mild anterior uveitis, stifle & hip osteoarthritis, chronic skin allergy and itching, non-surgical normalization of cryptorchidism.

The treatment method used in these studies was a handheld flashlight-like device contained a mere 5 diodes. Each case had noticeable improvement to significant improvements with LED light therapy.
